
Kevin Thilborger
Chief Managed Care Revenue Strategy Officer
Kevin leads the managed care, value-based care, communications, and reimbursement strategy/transformation practice. He also sits on the advisory council for new strategic investments for the firm.
Prior to his current role, Kevin worked for 15 years with 470 organizations to transform their revenue strategies from traditional fee-for-service toward value-based care, including performance improvement in administrative functions. He has worked with all types of health plans and health systems including academic medical centers, children’s hospitals, and multi-state integrated delivery networks. He has also advised and implemented changes in national, regional, and local health plans in Medicare, Medicaid, and commercial business.
He has 28 years of health care industry experience working for medical groups, insurance carriers, and consulting firms on turn-around strategies, managed care negotiations, new product development, direct-to-employer arrangements, and overall operations improvements.

Shannon Moylan
Head of Strategic Communications
Shannon serves as the Head of Strategic Communications at Unlock Health, bringing 22 years of experience in strategic communications leadership. She offers strategic counsel, planning, crisis and issues management, writing, internal communications, and marketing skills to a wide variety of health clients. Whether acting as a cheerleader or bodyboard for clients, her counsel to senior executives achieves communications and business goals. Her emphasis on awareness, education, and behavioral modification translates to client programming with compelling messages that resonate.
Prior to joining Unlock Health, Shannon held senior positions at several leading healthcare organizations, where she led initiatives in public relations, corporate communications, and marketing. Her expertise includes developing and executing comprehensive communication strategies that enhance brand reputation and stakeholder engagement.

Annie Ray
Senior Director
Annie has 12 years of finance and consulting experience across areas in the healthcare industry. She worked for a data and analytics consulting firm where she specialized in payor and provider negotiations, network development strategies, profitability improvement, policy implementation, and building Medicare Advantage Star improvement programs. She has consulted for large national payor and provider as well as local and regional organizations. She has led initiatives across commercial, marketplace, Medicare Advantage and Medicaid. Before consulting, Annie worked in corporate finance for a large insurance company.

Kayse Dahl
Senior Director
Kayse has 10 years of experience leading healthcare system marketing, communications, and public relations. During her tenure leading in-house marketing teams, she specialized in consumer research and brand development, crisis communications, issues management, and managed care. She worked closely with executive leaders to develop payor negotiation strategies – leveraging stakeholder communications, earned and paid media to achieve successful outcomes. She also led year-long marketing campaigns to support managed care and strategic growth goals, ranging from brand awareness to open enrollment and service line patient acquisition campaigns.

Nicole Kristy
Senior Director
Nicole brings 15 years of consulting expertise in the healthcare industry, partnering with medical providers, insurance companies, governments, and nonprofits to drive meaningful change. Her specialties include data analytics, change management, strategic communication, and contract negotiation. Nicole has helped organizations across the country transition to value-based care by designing innovative contract structures, performance measures, and incentive programs. She is also skilled in fostering engagement and collaboration with community members and other key stakeholders to achieve improved outcomes. Nicole graduated magna cum laude from Miami University with a Bachelor of Arts in Finance and holds a Master of Business Administration from the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University.

Aria Berluti
Account Supervisor
Aria has 6 years of experience in healthcare communications and account management. She focuses on communication campaigns for payor and provider negotiations and issues management and has worked with several hospitals and health systems across the country.
Prior to joining Unlock, Aria worked with a variety of clients, from hospitals to pharma and biotech companies, creating and executing communication campaigns. These campaigns largely focused on brand awareness and acquisition, including clinical trial recruitment and patient retention among others.

Brandon Edwards
Senior Advisor and CEO of Unlock Health
With 31 years of experience, Brandon is a seasoned healthcare marketing communication strategist with deep expertise in managed care, payor/provider relations, and the strategic dynamics between health plans and healthcare providers.
Throughout his career, he has led initiatives that bridge the complexities of healthcare business relationships, fostering collaboration between hospitals, health systems, physician organizations, and health technology companies. Brandon’s work in managed care includes driving innovative strategies to align payor and provider goals, improve patient access, and deliver sustainable business growth for healthcare organizations.
